We don't operate on Christmas, New Years Day and , Easter - we have reduced schedules on Christmas and New Year's Eve.


The tour route may be modified because of traffic, construction, weather. parades, and sporting events.

Our tours are non-smoking. Child Safety Seats must be provided by parents whose children legally require them. There must be at least one adult over the age of 18 with each party.

Directions to the Austin Visitors Center 209 E. 6th St. Austin, TX 78701-3678 – Departure and Return Location for "Tour Austin & Hill Country in 90 Minutes"

From I-35 North: Traveling South on I-35 . Take EXIT 234B onto the frontage road and make a right on East 6th street - the Visitors Center is located on your left 5 blocks up 6th street (about 1 mile.) .

From I-35 South: Traveling North on I-35 . Take EXIT 234C and make a left on East 6th street - the Visitors Center is located on your left 5 blocks up 6th street.

From Loop 1/ MOPAC (N MOPAC) : Take Loop 1 South take the 5th street exit. Travel about 2.3 miles, make a left on Trinity St, left on E. 6th street, Visitors Center is located on your left 1.5 blocks up 6th street.

From Loop 1 /MOPAC (S MOPAC): Take Loop 1 North take the 5th street exit, travel about 2.2 miles, make a left on Trinity St, left on E. 6th street, Visitors Center is located on your left 1.5 blocks up 6th street.

Metered On-Street Parking - The most economical parking choice is street meters which are located on East 5th Street (on the opposite side of the block of the Visitors Center.

Pay Surface Lots - A pay surface lot is conveniently located at the corner of Brazos St. and E. 5th St (508 Brazos St.) - one price good for all day.

“Tour Austin & Hill Country in 90 Minutes” Route

The map shows our tour route. This 30 mile tour cruises past more that 40 historical and cultural points of interest. In addition to these locations the tour provides an overview of our history and geology. Its entertaining and educational for visitors and new residents as well as Austinites who want to learn a little more about their city.
